Efros Orthodontics gets a 11/10. I have had a fixed retainer for 16 years which unexpectedly came loose. I called around to 5 other orthodontics which were either booked a month out or would not see me at all because I was not an existing client. Then I found Egros. The receptionist was friendly, actually listened to me and extremely knowledgeable. I was even able to get an appointment for the next day. I was scene at the Troy office which is brand new. The atmosphere felt more like a hotel than a dental office. It was clean and bright with comfortable trendy furniture and surprisingly good music. There I worked with a dental assistant named Jessica who made me feel comfortable and Dr. Efros. Dr. Efros was knowledgeable, friendly and general. He even agreed to remove my retainer for no charge. The removal took less than a minute as he promised. I wish this orthodonticst was around when I had braces.If I need future work I will definitely be going back! Great experience all around! Highly recommend

The best and only place to go for your orthodontic needs! I previously had orthodontic work at another office so I can truly speak to this. The administrative staff are super efficient and knowledgeable. I felt extremely comfortable and informed with both doctors that I have seen. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Efros takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure you understand the treatment plan. They use the latest technology like 3D imaging and clear aligners. I'm a 35 year old female who finally decided to take the plunge and do Invisalign. Results have been super quick, and it's only been a few months! My child had an urgent orthodontic need while we were on vacation in the Catskills. Efros was the only place that was willing to take her as a one-off patient and also help her on very short notice. They were friendly, accommodating with their scheduling, and it was a 5-minute fix that alleviated severe pain from a loose wire. I highly recommend this practice. They are humane and provided excellent care and service.

My favorite orthodontist. I’m so glad I found this place during covid. Decided to get braces as an adult now that I could finally afford it and thought what better time than when everyone was hiding their mouths with masks. I just finished my treatment today after 2 years of a braces/ Invisalign combo. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Efros and his team. I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else. Also just a side note, I would go for traditional braces. I know people will say I’m crazy but Invisalign was miserable for me. They’re hard to clean, they stain and they’re easy to lose. I also noticed 95% of my teeth correction came from braces. So so so worth it!!! I swear if you want drastic changes, braces are the way to go. You also have the option for a ton of cute colors. I don’t know, I loved braces but either way, go to Efros!!!

Marie was another team member that was basically there from start to finish of my treatment. She is so awesome, easy to talk to and extremely helpful as well. The atmosphere in the office is so comfortable, they play the BEST music in the office, I am usually the DJ, but when the DJ has to Shazam a song, the playlist is sounding right!!!! The office is always clean and the staff is fantastic. Dr. Malsch is one of the kindest, most caring and knowledgeable medical professionals that I have had. He really cares about his patients and it shows. His rates for braces are also incredibly reasonable compared to other practices I’ve heard about from friends. I mention him to anyone looking at getting braces, and I can’t recommend him highly enough!

BUT what really got me sold was *quick story* I was scheduled to start treatment back in March when COVID-19 spiked so we unfortunately had to hold off. I was a little upset because this is something I’ve always wanted to do & was finally going to do it but I understood. Jen at Efros orthodontics kept in contact with me every step of the way! Never missed a beat & kept me in the loop of things. Fast forward two months I am finally going to start treatment & I look forward to this journey with your team. Thank you!

My daughter is getting braces done at this office. Dr. Efros is very knowledgeable and put my daughter at ease by explaining the whole process. Diane was extremely nice and helpful through intake and scheduling.

Efros Orthodontics has made so many improvements to this office space over the past year since opening this location. The atmosphere is so welcoming, bright and cheery now! They even have a kids corner with bean bag chairs and a great selection of mags and books. Not to mention, the office is full of smiling faces ready to assist you to gain more confidence as you improve your smile. Thank you for joining our community!

Dr Efros and his staff are Amazing! They are always able to accommodate my appointment needs and when I had a problem with one of my Invisalign trays, they were able to fix it right away!Highly recommend!!

Definitely would recommend! i’ve been coming here for regular appointments for a while now and i have no complaints at all. all of the staff are very friendly and they have your best interest in mind!! (which is always a plus in my book) if you’re looking to get the best work done on your teeth, come here.

I went to Dr. Malsch for 4 years long ago (2001-2005). I looked like a jack-o'-lantern before, and came out with straight teeth. I still have my original permanently attached bottom retainer, which has never had to be reattached. I was never good about wearing my upper retainer, yet I can still wear it because my teeth have not moved. Dr. Malsch got my teeth right the first time, and has prevented me from requiring any more orthodontistry. Additionally, everyone in the office was very friendly and always professional. Very highly recommended.
